1904-53 collection of covers/picture cards (125) from Penang and Singapore bearing a variety of adhesives and with a range of frankings, largely addressed locally or to the U.K. and with other addresses including Austria, Canada, France, India (9), Iran, Jamaica, South Africa, Switzerland (bearing S.S. Malaya-Borneo Exhibition 1c. pair, 2c. and 4c.) and U.S.A., a few with tax marks, one to Australia with double-framed "passed by/censor, 3." handstamp in violet, 1910 Agri-Horticultural Show handstamp, a few registered and some airmails; also some unused postcards (17) and 1945 (Sept.) copies of "The Straits Times" with much detail of the allied victory in the area; condition a little mixed in paces though an interesting lot with viewing recommended
