1879 (26 Apr.) envelope from Singapore to Brest, bearing Peace and Commerce 15c. blue cancelled by a light strike of the "corr, d.arm./ligne n paq. fr. no 8" datestamp with a further fine strike below and alongside "indo-chine/paq. fr. modane" datestamp (23.5), carried on the Anadyr which left Saigon on 23 April and arrived at Marseilles on 23 May, probably carried by private bag with no Singapore markings, and 1894 soldier's envelope to Sedan, marked "Corps d'expedition du Tonkin" and bearing 8c. cancelled with Singapore datestamp and with "ligne n/paq. fr. no 1" octagonal datestamp alongside, "paid"
