1854 Diadem 1d. plate proof in brown-red on blued paper, a block of twenty from the foot of the sheet, [65-68/89-92/101-104/113-116], showing "ivory heads" on reverse, brilliant impressions and colour; a couple of tiny faults on reverse otherwise fine. The equal largest known multiple. Also GB 1d. red in a similar shade. Photo
