JF typical greyish black shade, small margin at right but large to very large margins other sides and showing a portion of the adjoining stamp at foot, tied by a black Maltese Cross to entire letter dated 29 July 1841 to Southampton, Farnham temporary (shifting) datestamp alongside; clean filing folds well clear of the adhesive, fine and one of the most beautiful Plate XI covers in existence.
