LL, large margins, huge at right showing part marginal inscription, tied to entire by 'waterbound' Glasgow red-purple (magenta) Maltese cross, boxed '26' receiving house mark in the same ink as the Maltese cross, together with octagonal and boxed Glasgow datestamps for 6th September (Sunday) and 7th September respectively; very fine and scarce Sunday usage. Also Plate 1a, IK, grey black shade with four good to large margins, tied to small piece by very clear strike of red-purple Maltese cross, fine. R.P.S. (1974) and B.P.A. (2018) Certificates for the cover and R.P.S. Certificate (2012) for the stamp on piece. Specialised A1 vd
