1852 (21 March) 2d. blue postal stationery envelope (Huggins EP6) additionally franked 1841-53 1d. red-brown Plate 42, QK, addressed to Haverfordwest, blue datestamps of Aberystwith and Haverfordwest on the reverse; fine and an extremely rare combination. Only four examples of the 2d. postal stationery envelope uprated by a 1d. are recorded in "Great Britain Victorian mixed franking covers" by Ray Simpson and Karl Louis. This is the latest recorded and the only Welsh usage. R.P.S. Certificate (2010)
