1915 (1 Sept.) envelope ex the "Simonet" correspondence to Paris, bearing Northern Nigeria 1d. pair in combination with Nigeria ½d., both clearly tied by "yola. northern nigeria" double-ring d.s. and showing, on reverse, Lokoja transit d.s. (11.9); also 1918 (15 Feb.) envelope to USA, bearing 1914 2½d. (a little soiled) tied by Freetown c.d.s. and showing straight-line "passed by censor" with framed "1" in half oval (Martin & Walton Type 3) in black
