1875 (17 June) entire "Registered Letter On Her Majesty's Service, Tho Barry Dep. P.M. to the Postmaster-General J.A. Le Sueur at Cape Town and showing fine oval-framed "port beaufort", likely to have been conveyed by the coaster Kadie of the firm Joseph Barry & Nephews. This oval handstamp rated the highest at 10 in the Robert Goldblatt handbook when its earliest date of use was in 1885
