Carlisle illustrated type signed by the Mail Officer and showing "tristan da cunha" Type VI cachet and bearing G.B. 1d. Postage Due alongside "1d" handstamp, and 1939 (Feb.) unstamped envelopes (2, one with contents) both carried on the Viceroy of India showing "tristan da cunha" Type VII cachet in dull violet, framed "t/15.c.", Cape Town Paquebot machine or datestamp types
