Government of the East Africa Protectorate, a sheet of printers archival paper titled 'Appendix F' and dated East Africa 5th March 1913', a 20 rupee trial dated Mombasa 1 July 1912, the left half black and white with value in brown underprint, the right half similar but faded and annotated 'section of proposed note not treated with carbolic', signature of Henry Armstrong Smallwood low right, in addition a separate rubbing with text 'Rubbing from section treated with creosote'
