James I (1603-1625), Second Coinage, Unite, 1605-1606, fourth crowned and cuirassed half-length bust right, rev. crowned square-topped and garnished shield dividing I-R, 10h, 9.90g, m.m. rose (Schneider II, 23; North 2083; Spink 2619), a neat, perhaps too round flan, with thinning at peripheries, a small graffiti mark by orb, otherwise about very fine, the portrait pleasantly uniform, and increasingly sought after
