MEDIVM ILLORV IBAT, rose set on blazing sun at centre, alternating floriate terminals and crowned leopards in angles, 7.68g, 9h, p.m. long cross fitchée (Blunt and Whitton X; cf. Schneider I, 380 for rev. reading; North 1549; Spink 1951), lightly cleaned with residual reddish tone in recesses, a really bold very fine, a scarce privy mark
