James I (1603-1625), Second Coinage, Shilling, 1609-1610, fifth bust right, rev. square-topped shield, 5.82g, 12h, m.m. key [over coronet on reverse] (North 2101; Spink 2656), spot of staining on reverse and duskily toned across a short flan, otherwise a deceptively uniform and bold strike for issue with a wonderful portrait, near extremely fine or better but for doubling in the legend, seldom encountered in this condition
