Charles II (1660-1685), 'Royal African Company', Two-Guineas, 1664, Elephant below laureate bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, 16.60g, 6h (EGC 204; Stratos 152; Schneider II, 430; MCE 32; Spink 3334), slightly bent and pockmarked on neck and before face, nevertheless not a wholly displeasing and scarce coin, with a subtle orange tone to reverse uniformly bold portrait details, better than fine
