(m.m.) • CHRISTO • AVSPIC[E] • REGNO ••:••, round garnished shield surmounted by lis [over rose], dividing C-R, 14.84g, 1h, m.m. plume (Bull 99/9 [2 Listed]; Hawkins 2a; Francis 2a; Brooker -/298 same reverse die; Samuel Birchall 97 same ticket; North 2205; Spink 2769), small striking flaw below shield, otherwise lustrous, good fine, a very rare legend reading unrepresented in the Brooker collection
