Bronze Cross of Rhodesia Rhodesia Gazette Notice No. 330 of 13 April 1978:

'For gallantry and leadership in action. During operations the aggression, determination and initiative shown by Acting Corporal Mzinda have been an example to all his comraddes and the men under his command.'
