Montagne Pinnock was born 29 August 1911 in Cape Town, South Africa. He worked as a clerk prior to enlisting on 30 October 1940 with 'Q' Service Corps and was promoted Sergeant on 1 February 1942. Having served in the Middle East and Italy, Pinnock was discharged on 25 November 1945; sold together with copied service and medal records as well as shoulder flashes and SASC cap badge.
