John Adam Bradley served with the Royal Engineers in France from 19 September 1915. He went on to work as a Sorting Clerk and Telegraphist in Manchester. It was while working in this role that he received the Imperial Service Medal (London Gazette 11 July 1941, refers); sold together with copied London Gazette entry and copied MIC.
