Percy George Bennett served with the Johannesburg Mounted Rifles during the Boer War. He was transferred from the South African Field Artillery to the South African Engineer Corps with the rank of Sapper on 11 December 1915 and was discharged 12 October 1917; sold together with copied M.I.C. and disability records.
