India General Service 1895-1908, 3 clasps, Punjab Frontier 1897-98, Samana 1897, Tirah 1897-98 (Tindal Lekhraj 1st. Bn. 5th Gurkha Rifles), very fine and scarce to a follower in silver

Lekhraj served as a Tindal (Foreman) with the 1st Battalion, 5th Gurkha (Rifle) Regiment. The took part in operations on the North-West Frontier 1897-98 to include the provision of a number of men from the Gurkha Scouts that were raised for the campaign.
