Indian Mutiny 1857-59, 2 clasps, Defence of Lucknow, Lucknow (T. Watson, 78th Highlanders), contact and wear, traces of repair to clasps, thus fine

Thomas Watson, a native of Reddliff, Deptford, joined the 78th Highlanders at Queen Square, Middlesex on 3 April 1845. Having seen active service with the unit during the Indian Mutiny, he was discharged at his own request, with good conduct, on 2 May 1865; sold together with copied roll and Discharge Papers.
