East Anglia, Beonna (c. 749-760), Sceat, Werferth, + BEOGGA REZS (BEONNA REZX) partly runic, central pellet in beaded inner circle, rev. + WERFERD around central rosette within beaded lozenge with diagonals transecting the legend, 1.02g, 90° (SL 113-30 plate coin; Archibald et al., 1995, C1 this coin; SCBI 63, 847; SCBI 69, 1069 this coin; Archibald, 1985 and 1995; T&S pp. 601-7, 478; Gannon 165, 168, no. 85, 175-6, Figs 5.10b, Fig. 5.24c, 13, 192; North 430; SCBC 945B), some surface deposits, otherwise a pleasingly very fine, and a great rarity, one of only three known, the other two from the Middle Harling hoard [now in the BM] and the Ipswich excavations
