Hirsute monster fleeing right, pellet eye, trefoil tail, pellet below, 1.04g, 90° ( SL 107-20 plate coin; Abramson, 2012b, Fig 21b; SCBI 69, 811 this coin; T&S pp. 477-81, 378-81; Gannon 137, 148-50, and Figs. 3.17, 4.43, 4.60; Spink 807B), well-centred with bright surfaces and of good fabric, a hint of verdigris, otherwise nearly extremely fine and extremely rare, a most wonderful Saxon coin
