Incoming Mail from the Shanghai Local Post
1893 (13 Dec.) 1c. postal stationery envelope (PC10B) from the Presbyterian Mission Press to Chefoo cancelled by faint strikes of Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. with a good strike of the Chefoo Local Post oval datestamp (17.12) in blue. There is a vertical folding crease but of fresh and fine appearance.


Late use of the oval datestamp which was not used after late December. This is thought to be the only example of the 1c. stationery card mailed to Chefoo
