1894 (27 Mar.) opened-out 1c. postal stationery envelope (E1c) to Shanghai cancelled by a good strike of the double-oval "shanghai l.p.o./swatow agency" postmark with manuscript date insertion, the reverse with a light strike of Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (31.1) and postman's delivery characters in red crayon.


An important cover which is probably the only example of this stationery envelope bearing the Swatow postmark. Photo
