1895 (9 Jan.) Kewkiang L.P.O. printed memo from the postmaster which noted that he enclosed five sets of stamps including both the first and second issue ½c. indicating that the first issue ½c. were available some six months after their issue. Also with a group of first issue ½c. bearing dates between June and October 1894

The famous purchhase of most of the original stock of first issue ½c. stamps still left a sufficient supply of these at the post office.
