1895 (13 July) card sent from Archibald Little to his family in London cancelled by a fine strike of the Chungking boxed datestamp in purple, there are no other postal markings or postage requirements so possibly carried under separate cover. The message includes, "... Herewith specimen our new P. card!". There is some soiling and scuffing along side edges. This is the earliest recorded use of this card.
