1894 (30 Nov.) post office notice accepting letters and parcels by express courier to Ichang, thence by steamer to the Treaty Posts and vice vercâ, giving the rates and other details. The notice is stamped at top with a fine strike of "chungking l.p.o. shanghai agency" c.d.s. in purple, the first day of the establishment of this service

It is thought that there are only three of these post offices notices left, the other two being dated January 14 and March 15 (illustrated in Dougan, ex Lane and Eide)
