Barbados: Barbados Water Supply Co. Ltd., Second Mortgage debenture, £10, 1891, #1055, black. Founded by Act of Legislature in 1886 to supply rural areas of the Island with clean water. The company applied for more time to complete its works but found sources very scarce. It fought with the Bridgetown Waterworks Company over using the Bowmanston Stream and in the end both compnies were acquired by the Government by the Waterworks Act of 1895. EF and scarce.
