Mexico: La Noria Mining Company, a pair of certificates for $25 shares, one dated 188[5], #463 and the other with slightly different printing, including different registrars, 18[89], #2143, miners at work at bottom, eagle top right. This silver mine was at Noria in the State of Zacatecas previously worked by local miners on the surface only. This company sunk shafts but withdrew little silver with its stock dropping to 12½ cents much to the chagrin of its Pittsburgh shareholders. Both VF (2).
