Canada: British Columbia Telephone Company, a specimen First Mortgage debenture stock certificate from the Bradbury, Wilkinson archive, Canadian Register 19- (printers annotation for 1929), allegorical figure at top, orange and black, with counterfoil. Formed by Act of Parliament in 1916 to take over an earlier company. Grew over the next decades to beome the second largest telecoms company in Canada today. Rare. EF.
