The racetrack was opened by Kelly in 1946 supported by many stars of the day such as Frank Sinatra and Bob Hope. John Brendan Kelly Senior (1889 - 1960), Olympic rower, winning 3 gold medals in 1920 and 1924. Father of Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco. Together with a certificate issued to John B. Kelly Jr., in Citation National Life Corporation, 1966. VF (2).
