Great Britain: North Wales Narrow Gauge Railways Company, Moel-Tryfan Undertaking, £10 shares,18[91], #314, ornate border, mauve, printed by Waterlow & Sons. An ambitious scheme formed in 1871 to build a series of 1'11½" lines across North Wales. The Moel-Tryfan was the first built and opened in the 1870's. The First World War saw passenger traffic stopped and an irregular goods traffic continued but the company was in financial difficulty. It was finally acquired by the Aluminium Corporation and incorporated into the Welsh Highland Railway in 1922. VF and rare.
