Great Britain: Golden Valley Railway Company, one share, 187[8], #1785, small vignette of steam train in scrollwork at left, attractive orange printing by Waterlow Bros. and Layton. Short line running from Pontrilas on the Great Western Railway in Herefordshire to Hay, Breconshire, fully opened in 1889. Partly closed due to financial difficulty in 1897 followed by the remainder in 1898. The Great Western Railway purchased the line from the liquidator in 1899. GVF.
