Great Britain: Calder & Hebble Navigation, stock certificate, [1909], recording a transfer of stock in the books of the company, ornate heading, black. Construction began in 1759 and was soon opened from Wakefield to Brighouse but the original trustees ran out of funds and this company was incorporated in 1769 converting all original loans into new shares. Later extended to Sowerby Bridge with links to Halifax. AVF
