South India, Pandyas of Madurai (c.1210-1325), AE Kasu (2), the first anonymous, seated king with fish and sceptre, the second with legend between two fish 'ellantalaiyanan' (lord of all), a title associated with Jatavarman Sundara Pandya I, Later Pandyas of South Arcot (1325-62), AE Kasu, bull standing left / konerirayan, Madurai under Vijayanagara (1416-1520), AE Kasu, naming viceroy Nagama Dannayaka / elephant right, Bana Chiefs, AE Kasu (2), Garuda / samarakolakalan, together with other minor Kasu of the later Nayaks of Madura and associated poligars (10) (MSI II. 363-6, 374-5, 385-6, 525-30, 564-7), generally fine or better, the early Pandya coins scarce in any condition (16)
