Victoria, Gothic "Model" Crowns, 1848, Bimetallic issues, by Joseph Moore for H Hyams, Barter D/1 [Rogers type 1] (4), ???? on a silver coated brass annulus with gilt copper insert, 12h, 8.15g, 26.7mm., 2.2mm. thick (Barter 4; Rogers 205a), the gilding almost entirely absent, the silver plating deceptively thick, nicely toned, almost extremely fine; also, Barter C/1 [2], as last but silver plated, 12h, 7.96g, 26.7mm., 2.1mm. thick (Barter 8; Rogers 205a); lastly, similar but full copper flan, 12h, 7.95g, 26.65mm., 2mm. thick (Barter 9; Rogers 205c), all extremely fine or near so, the last with much mint colour (4)
