Victoria, Gothic "Model" Crowns, 1848, Bimetallic issues, by Joseph Moore for H Hyams, Barter B/2 [Rogers type 1] (5)), on a silver coated brass annulus with brass insert, 1h, 8.12g, 26.7mm., 2.2mm. thick (Barter 4; Rogers 205a); another, similar but plated copper annulus with brass insert, 12h, 7.97g, 26.6mm., 2.1mm. thick (cf. Rogers 205b); also, similar but full copper flan, 1h, 7.87g, 26.6mm., 2mm. thick (Barter 5; Rogers 205c); another, the copper annulus, missing inner core, 12h, 6.13g, 26.6mm., 2mm.; lastly, nickel-plated copper alloy, 1h, 7.84g, 26.6mm. 2mm., generally very fine to extremely fine, with gilding removed only on highest points, the last unusual but probably plated after manufacture as otherwise an unlisted variety (5)
