Victoria, Gothic "Model" Crowns, 1848, Bimetallic issues, by Joseph Moore for H Hyams, Barter A/1 [Rogers type 1] (3), on a silver coated brass annulus with gilt copper insert, 1h, 8.09g, 26.8mm., 2.3mm. thick (Barter 1; Rogers 205a); another, similar but on silver-plated brass annulus [copper exposed on edge], 7.84g, 26.8mm., 2.1mm. thick (Barter 2; Rogers 205a); lastly, as before, on a full copper flan, 1h, 8.07g, 26.73mm., 2mm. thick (Barter 3; Rogers 205c), gilding removed only on highest points, otherwise generally very fine or better (3)
