Great Britain: Charles Lafitte & Co. Ltd., 2 books of 250 unissued share certificates, 1866, ##59501-59750 and 59751-60,000, scrollwork at left, black. Finance company formed at the peak of the speculative boom and failed in the same year. Of the large number of these we have seen, most have been unissued and then a larger quantity only partly issued and only a few 100 issued. Mostly EF (500).
