[NGC Fine details] The Hardcastle Collection. Anne (1702-14), pattern copper Halfpenny, bust left, rev. crowned thistle, 10.56 g 12h, plain edge (Peck 720), a highly interesting specimen of Isaac Newton's trial coinage, clearly exhibiting circulation wear. The attribution to Peck's Group 1, the original early strikings must be taken lightly as it is possible, however unlikely, that any rust marks have been worn off; good Fine with a clear die crack across the reverse
