1875 "Rambles of a Globe Trotter" published in 1875, edited by E. K. Laird, and published by Chapman & Hall, 193 Piccadilly, London. It is the earliest book to affix photos as illustrations for travel book of around the world. It was two years later than "China and the Chinese" published by John Thomson in 1873. "Rambles of a Globe Trotter" one set in two volumes ( divided into two hardcover books). The book has replaced the traditional habit of using engraving as an illustration in the book. This is a major breakthrough in the history of publishing and printing and has extraordinary significance. There are dozens of photos in the book, 9 of which are from China and Macau, the rest are taken from all over the world, and a map of the world is also attached, and mark their journey. The author has made detailed records of the daily trips and the number of miles. The books are well preserved and there are no missing pages. Size: 33 x 15.5 x 3.2cm
