AA-AB corner pair showing the plate letter "A" and the margin inscription, the other margins are very close to large, part original gum which is quite patchy in places; there is a vertical crease between the two stamps and a tiny ink spot at the foot of AA; there is a thin in the top margin above AB. The reverse bears an ink inscription in the margin which reads, "W.E. image to ..." and is dated "March 30 1882" and is signed in pencil "Denny Marshall".


Here we present one of the great pieces of the V.R. Official stamps, the only other corner plate letter items are from the imprimatur sheet. This unique and historic item is ready to grace the finest of collections or exhibits
