Grange Hill
1859 (7 Feb.) entire letter "p paid" to Kingston, bearing 4d. rose-carmine horizontal pair each cancelled "A01" and with fine "grange hill/jamaica" P2a. datestamp in brownish ink with day, month and "59 of year date in manuscript, 8d. paid for a single rate ½oz. letter carried over 100 miles, Grange Hill being 128 miles from Kingston. This franking and manuscript datestamp unrecorded by Foster. Photo
