1846 (5 Dec.) entire letter from Leogan Estate, Montego Bay carried by private ship and posted in New Orleans and from there to Toronto, Kingston U.C. and Newmarket, Upper Canada, showing New Orleans datestamp, "paid" and "10" rate handstamp all in light grey ink, Kingston U.C. datestamp (7.1) and manuscript "11½" on arrival in Canada, Toronto and Newmarket datestamps on reverse.
