1879 (10 Jan. addressee's date) blue envelope to England, apparently written by an officer who paid civilian rates of postage, bearing 1878 (Mar.) imperforate 6d. blue on blue, left-hand pane [33] with margins in places (crease at foot) and cancelled "11" at Utrecht where it entered the post, the cover forwarded via Natal and backstamped at Durban with a date that may be 23 January and trace of a London datestamp in red; envelope with some creasing though an unusual non-combination franking. Also 1882 (Apr.) envelope (some soiling) from England "pr Conway Castle" via Cape Town and Pretoria to Wakkerstroom. Photo
