1d. rose-red block of forty-eight (12x4) from the top of the sheet with full sheet margins, interpanneau margin and Plate "7" at top left and top right, the upper left horizontal pair variety overprint omitted and the right-hand stamp of the lower adjoining pair with overprint almost completely missing, the lower horizontal row with overprints sloping down slightly from left to right, mint with large part gum, the block of four with varieties remaining unmounted; severed into blocks of sixteen and thirty-two with some stamps in the larger block with perfs. severed, and some production gum bends, nevertheless a very rare and spectacular showpiece multiple.
