1977 Third Definitive Issue, Proteas collection of twenty-five handpainted essays by Dick Findlay, all executed 4½ times stamp size on thin card with the Latin names, artists name and date written underneath each, three further handpainted essays on card, two with the names and artist name printed underneath, one for a 30c. value, and one other printed in black on paper affixed to card; accompanied by promotional photos, sets cancelled on first day cards, etc. A highly attractive group which would make a wonderful basis for a study of the issue
