2d. blue and violet November 1938 printing, watermark upright marginal blocks of four from the top, left and right-hand sides, and a block of twelve (6x2) from the foot of the sheet, all with arrows from the four corners of the sheet, fine unmounted mint, upper left corner block of four, Row 2/2 with variety closed "g" of "postage", and a marginal block of four with blue sheet number, unmounted and mounted mint respectively, and examples on covers comprising a single with Ship 1d. cancelled with Durban Paquebot to USA and censored, and a vertical pair with 1½d. registered from Durban to Ireland.
