3d. black and dull red Issue 1 1st. printing, watermark inverted arrow block of twelve (6x2) from the top of the sheet with English stamp first on the sheet, and a marginal block of eighteen (6x3) with margins at both sides, Row 5, 6 and 7, Row 5/1 with break in frame under "<postage" and with control "A" opposite Row 5/6 Afrikaans stamp, fresh mint with just one hinge remainder in the top block margin, and four singles on covers to Germany (registered), Transvaal (uprated 1d. envelope) and U.S.A.
